I had initially planned on just making some really good chocolate chip cookies, just to take a break from sourdough but every time I opened my fridge my discard called to me. So, on bake day I deterred from my original plan and kind of went on the fly with this one

Instead of hearty, I should probably call these ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls because these turned out to be a sticky hearty treat. I will preface this recipe by saying that this was a complete experiment. I used a lot of techniques to gain some dough handling experience and to see how the dough would react for these rolls.
A few days ago while visiting my parents I came across a box of strawberry Poptarts. My immediate reaction was to toast one but after that impulse passed, I thought it would be fun to try and recreate that treat myself.
